Hudson River Strongman Showdown 9/15/2007
I came in third place out of seven competitors. Not bad, since i lost 67 pounds in 9 months, and I still retained allot of my strength. Thanks for all of your help, the top three winners in each weight class enjoyed receiving APT merchandise as part of their winnings.

I started powerlifting around 1997, I first competed in an AAU event as a junior, and I held an unconfirmed deadlift record of 570lbs in the 242lb weight class(unconfirmed junior American record), A year later I cracked 600lbs raw at a competition in Mays Landing NJ. I started competing in Strongman competitions in 2005. My first contest was the 2005 Hudson River Strongman, and I placed first in the novice lightweight division. I competed in the 2006 Battle of the Bad Ass, and came in 11th, and then competed at the 2006 Central Jersey competition as A heavyweight( I weighed 235lbs) and came in 4th. I have my first competition in over a year coming up and I'm going in as an under 200lb competitor on September 15th at the Hudson River Strongman Showdown.
