17 Nov 2007,..I've just returned from the IPA Nationals in York, PA, and you and I had a great day there. I squatted 475 in the Black Mamba knee wraps for a 51# meet PR. In the bench, I opened in the 36" Blue Mambas with 230, then went 245 in the same, switching to the Convicts for a 250 third attempt (should have gone higher, it flew up) and a 13# meet PR. Gene Rychlak was head judge on the bench and I told him after my third it was "all in the wraps, baby." He got a chuckle out of that. In the deadlift, I pulled 485 on my second, then missed a world record attempt at 510 (red-lighted for hitching). On my fourth I got the pull and the world record! I finished with an official total of 1210 (55# meet PR).
