I was spent the first part of my life in Tennessee. As a teenager, I moved to Kentucky and attended college right out of high school. I spent about two years in college and decided to take a break from it, then began working for a local bank as a teller. I spent a year sitting behind a desk everyday and gained about 60 pounds. I just became fed up with all that weight and decided to do something about it. So I started kickboxing in our martial arts academy.
Every class seemed so hardcore and almost painful, but I stuck with it in hopes that I might drop at least a few pounds. After about a couple of months, I started seeing results and was so amazed and uplifted at the changes my body was making, so I started working harder and began weight training. Next thing I know, I'm flying to California for a photo shoot with my newfound physique and was published a year later. I now have several magazines under my belt with multiple page spreads and am working hard to continue into fitness modeling.
I feel so accomplished due to all of the hard work I've put into staying lean and taking pictures, it's truly gratifying. My goal now is to help others meet their fitness goals and be an inspiration to those that want to give up. Losing weight is certainly a difficult battle, and I'm living proof that hard work really does pay off.
