Drew Sheffield 843 lb Squat and APT's Black Bamba Knee Wraps
|

Alan and the rest of APT Pro Gear,
I wanted to share with you the results from the GA State APF Champs this past weekend. Curt Dennis Jr. recently started training with us at North Georgia Barbell and since he is now a bench only lifter he gave me a pair of his APT Black Mambas to use for the meet. I absolutely loved them! I weighed in at 253 and lifted in the 275lb class because I don't believe in cutting weight. Every time I try I get weaker and have a bad meet so I lift in whatever class I end up in. I ended up squatting 843 which was a huge PR for me. That squat led to me to total 2017 which was my first Elite Total at 21 years old. I benched 501 and deadlifted 672 but the 843 squat was the highlight of the day for me and I really think the wraps played a big role in it. The Blue Power wrist wraps I was wearing are also very supportive and a top notch product.
Curt also had a great weekend finally getting what he deserved. He is and has always been an incredibly strong lifter but had trouble learning how to use a bench shirt. It all came together this weekend and he nailed a 705lb bench.
