Edward G Dudley-Robey MD & Powerlifter

March 1st 2009 at the UPA Super Qualifer at Team Super Training in Sacramento, California,  Edward "Doctor Bench" Dudley-Robey, M.D. won the 165lb class with a bench of 425. His lift set a new UPA National submaster record and set new California state records in the open and submaster divisions. This marks the third meet in a row where he has set a national level or higher open or submaster record in 3 different federations (AAFPF, GPC, UPA) including a Bronze Medal at the 2008 GPC world championships!

Last Sunday at the 2008 AFPF So-Cal Push-Pull, Edward G. Dudley-Robey, M.D. set a new AAFPF American submaster record with a 402 lb bench press at 165 lb in a single-ply Kitana. This lift also set new California open and submaster records along with ranking as one of the Powerlifting USA top 100 of all-time for the 165 class.
 
Dr. Dudley-Robey's next competition is scheduled to be in September 2008 as a member of Team USA at the GPC World Championships in Birmingham, England.
