I received my APEX bench shirt and it is my first ever shirt. The shirt was very intimidating when I received it because I have never had one. I put the shirt on to attempt some lifts with it.
I worked up to 435 RAW, then on goes the shirt and started to work some boards. I hit my RAW max to a 4 board with allot of resistance from the shirts. So I added 535 to the bar and got it to a 2 board. So we upped it to 600 and I struggled to get that to touch to a 1 board.
I was done after that, and the shirt was very simple to pull off. I didn't get "shirt bite" to bad.
It appears that it would take 650 for me to touch in my shirt, but I don't think that I could love it out.
This is a great product from APT as is all there products. I have a Raw meet in May and after that I will begin training for my first geared meet and using the single ply APEX bench shirt and representing APT on the platform.
