WASHINGTON (August 1, 2004) - For the 5th year, Yohnnex Sports, Yohnnex Nutrition along with Mr. Universe, Yohnnie Shambourger will award the Overall Male and Female Bodybuilding Winner of the 2004 NPC Conquest Bodybuilding and Figure Championship with the Legendary Excalibur Sword on Saturday, August 21st at Richmond's Landmark Theatre, 6 North Laurel Street, Richmond, VA 23220.
Last year, the 2004 Conquest was blown away by a surprise visit from Hurricane Isabel. This year, the Conquest storms back! A concerted effort to expand the show's appeal was undertaken, starting with the decision to move the show up a month. The Conquest appeals to vendors, athletes and fans of all ages, as it is the only show of this magnitude in the Richmond, Virginia area. Additionally, the Conquest is the key point-of-entry for newcomers in bodybuilding and figure, and provides additional exposure for those national-level amateur competitors prepping for the NPC National and North American Championships.
To further it's commitment to the community the 2004 Conquest will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Richmond Parks and Planning Department to benefit health and fitness programs and activities.

With BodyRock Productions providing the music and a line-up of guest posers that includes IFBB Pros Dennis James and Mike Matarazzo, along with top NPC National competitor Monty Mabry, one can predict that the 2004 Conquest will be an event not to be missed.
