"On Sunday April 13th, 2003 - Scott Bixler lifting for Olympus Gym qualified
for the AAU World Powerlifting Championships being held in Nov. by winning
the AAU Triple Crown Classic in Richmond, Va. Bixler who is 50 years old
competed in the 220 lb. class in the Masters 50-54 Division. Bixler who resides
in Union Bridge did a 380 lb. Squat, 297 lb. Bench Press and a 440 lb. Deadlift
for a 1117 lb. total. He did not miss an attempt all day, going 9 for 9. This
performance also won him the Best Lifter in the Masters Division. Scott would
