Sledge Hammer training is a super way to get strong and fit. The SLS and all SG sledge hammers are constructed with high-quality 4130 alloy handles. The gripping area of the handles are formed like a standard sledge handle which gives you control of the sledge and more accurate pounding. Made for beating and pounding, these will take as much punishment as you can dish out. The oversize head has several benefits over standard hardware store sledges. The bigger hitting face reduces twist of sledge head on impact and also reduces bounce back. This lets you focus on conditioning and not getting hurt. Empty weight- 10 lbs and loads up to 26lbs with steel shot/media and heavier with lead shot.
