You’ve spent a lot of money on your bands, why not do everything you can to take care of them. We’ve developed our Band Spacers for weight lifting training to provide a space on the bar to loop the bands while allowing you to push the plates tight so they don’t slide around. Without the spacers, the plates can rub against the bands and effect your lift, or worse, pinch the bands and possibly cut or nick them.
But wait, that’s not all they can do. If you pull sumo and you’re one of the few of us that can get wide enough that you have to worry about dropping the plates on your toes, slide the Band Spacers on before you load the bar and spare your toes.
If you compete in a federation that uses wider bars for squats and deadlift but you don’t have one to train with. Our Band Spacers can move the weight out to give your standard bar the same “feel” as a wider one.
The Band Spacers weigh about 1.25 pounds each so they can also be used for micro-loading.
Sold as a pair. Red powder coat finish is durable and makes them easy to find.
